Upper Hand 03:24
All This Time You've got a lot of nerve to say I'm over served It's not the drink that did me in, can't find no comfort in my skin So I called your bluff, you said there's not enough Love or money to get by, we could have made it if we tried But you lied to me, were you afraid to see If I could take it so you faked it all this time If my time is up, I guess my hands are cuffed I would blame you that won't change you, not this time After all this time I don't want your sympathy, or need you close to me While I figure out what's next or just retracing every step Our love was nullified, deep six'd over night When you confessed to every sin it was the truth that did me in When you lied to me, were you afraid to see If I could take it so you faked it all this time And if our time is up, I guess my hands are cuffed I would blame you that won't change you, not this time After all this time, time All I wanna do is wake up without you on my mind All I wanna do is wake up without you on my mind All I wanna do is wake up without you on my mind All I wanna do is wake up without you on my mind All I wanna do is wake up without you on my mind All I wanna do is wake up without you on my mind

Every High 03:33
Every High Let's see how this plays out We've got a habit of it going nowhere A shadow of a doubt Is just enough to make you think I don't care We still remember the things we should forget Every high has its lows Every stop just waiting for the go Every time we get close We tear it down, the things we love the most Let's see how this plays out We'll start a history that's not repeating We should take a shot And shock ourselves out of this self defeating World where we came from We're not the only ones Every high has its lows Every stop just waiting for the go Every time we get close We tear it down, the things we love the most We still remember the things we should forget Every high has its lows Every stop just waiting for the go Every time we get close We tear it down, the things we love the most

All Over Again Gonna turn the lights way down low Put a stop to this before you go Wanna go back to the dream that you came from I wanna think that I'm the only one I don't want to count the things that came between us It don't mean a thing I know it can't beat us And I don't wanna lose you all over again I don't want to contemplate this magic ever ends Don't wanna live a life that's just good enough I don't wanna lose you all over again Time has a habit of taking its toll Showing its teeth and baring its soul I wanna get back to the way it used to be When all that mattered was you and me I don't want to count the things that came between us It don't mean a thing I know it can't beat us I don't wanna lose you all over again I don't wanna contemplate this magic ever ends Don't wanna live a life that's just good enough I don't wanna lose you all over again I don't want to count the things that came between us It don't mean a thing I know it can't defeat us I don't wanna lose you all over again I don't wanna contemplate this magic ever ends Don't wanna live a life that's just good enough I don't wanna lose you all over again I don't wanna lose you...I don't wanna lose you all over again

Never Belonged to Me I don't know what to do with you darling I don't know what to say You've been busy with your double life While I bury my troubles in a shallow grave I don't know what to do with the down time Wondering where you are I tried to fill the hole where you ripped apart my soul I thought you had a beating heart Seems like we're meeting for the first time And I hate everything I see When you belonged to me (never belonged to me) When you belonged to me (never belonged to me) Not too long ago we had something Yeah something to believe I could take you at your word no voices to be heard No secrets hiding up your sleeve Somewhere on the way that was stolen And never to be found A slap across the face, a mark I can't erase I'd be breaking but I'm broken down Seems like we're meeting for the first time And I hate everything I see When you belonged to me (never belonged to me) When you belonged to me (never belonged to me)...

Contract 02:06
Contract You were a dream that almost came true Gave me a glimpse of a life I couldn't live without you When you said I stole your heart Like it was written in the stars That was a contract, and I can't give it back I was lost, fait accompli I was done Time was the enemy and slowly the enemy won It was a letter of intent When you rushed to my defense It was a contract, and I can't give it back Sign on the dotted line couldn't be more perfectly clear Memory fades as it plays to the worst of my fears It was a contract and I can't give it back It was a contract and I can't give it back It was a contract

about

Nick Piunti Detroit, Michigan

Nick Piunti began his musical journey as a 12 year old rocker with his teen band Dwarf. 50 years later and his passion for creating 3 minute bursts of melodic rock has not faded. Now with The Complicated Men (Jeff Hupp, Ron Vensko, Kevin Darnall, Joe Daksiewicz) Nick continues to release perhaps the best music of his career. This takes late bloomer to the extreme. ... more
